Hydraulic Accumulators: Bladder & Piston Type
Hydraulic accumulators in bladder and piston configurations for energy storage, pressure pulsation dampening, emergency actuation, and thermal expansion compensation in turbine hydraulic trip circuits, ESV actuator systems, and industrial hydraulic power units. Bladder type: nitrogen-precharged elastomeric bladder inside a seamless steel shell, compact, fast-response, 0.5 to 200 litres, up to 350 bar. Piston type: floating piston separating gas and fluid chambers in a heavy-wall cylinder, higher pressure ratios, larger volumes, suitable for high-temperature oil service. Compatible with HYDAC, Bosch Rexroth, Parker, and EPE accumulator system hardware.
Application: Critical hydraulic component in steam turbine control and trip systems: ESV (Emergency Stop Valve) hydraulic actuator energy storage, provides closing force for 3–5 full ESV strokes on loss of hydraulic supply; governor hydraulic actuator supply pressure maintenance during pump switchover; turbine trip oil header pressure hold during transients. Also used across industrial HPUs for: shock and pulsation absorption on pump outlet lines; energy storage for intermittent high-flow demand (press, clamp, die-casting); thermal compensation in blocked-in hydraulic circuits; emergency lowering and clamping circuits on loss of pump power.
