MS/SS Dismantling Joint for Pipeline Maintenance

Application: Universal maintenance consumable across all plant types: steam turbine auxiliary valve stem packing (gate, globe, and control valves), centrifugal pump gland boxes, reciprocating pump plunger seals, agitator shaft seals, rotary compressor shaft seals, and heat exchanger channel cover joints. Supplied as rope coil (specify cross-section and length) or as pre-cut rings (specify shaft OD, stuffing box ID, and number of rings). Most frequently procured alongside turbine overhauls, valve repacking during planned shutdowns, and pump mechanical seal conversions where gland packing is retained.

Application: Mandatory on every pressure vessel and steam boiler in Indian plants: required under IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations), Factories Act, and IS/ASME codes. Critical applications: steam boiler drum SRVs (ASME Section I / IBR), turbine steam inlet header SRVs, lube oil system relief valves, heat exchanger shell-side relief, hydraulic accumulator safety relief, and thermal relief valves (TRVs) on blocked-in liquid lines. Supplied as direct OEM-matched replacements (specify make, model, set pressure, orifice designation, and inlet/outlet size), or as new installation valves with sizing calculation to API 520.

Application: Critical across all steam-using plants: sugar mills, co-generation, refineries, chemical process, and turbine auxiliary steam systems. Thermodynamic disc traps: turbine steam inlet drip legs, steam distribution mains, outdoor steam tracing, and any high-pressure medium-to-light condensate load application. Float & thermostatic traps: heat exchangers, process heating coils, unit heaters, and low-to-medium pressure systems requiring continuous condensate drainage. Inverted bucket traps: superheated steam mains, high-pressure steam distribution, steam jacketing, and applications where sub-cooling of condensate is acceptable. All types: critical for protecting downstream turbine nozzles, blades, and steam paths from water hammer caused by accumulated condensate.
